This was last weeks challenge over at iSpy Weekly Challenge on Flickr:
I’m having a lot of fun lately with actions and textures. I love that you can have an image and completely change it around with a little post processing. So….let’s some a couple of your favorite shots altered. Be sure to show the before and after.
Here is what I came up with:
Our most recent challenge over at iSpy Weekly Challenge was to photography clouds. Here is my favorite of the ones I captured.
This is our iSpy challenge over on Flickr this week:
This week will be a pivital moment in US history and I am humbled to be able to witness it (no matter what your political beliefs are). Show me something historical. Whether it’s a building, a monument, or a treasured family heirloom.
This is a little piece of history from our family that is now my my most treasured posession. A locket that my grandmother used to wear around her neck every day. It opens to reveal 4 pictures: my great grandmother and grandfather, my great uncle, and my grandfather.
I was contacted not long ago by an artist who stumbled upon my blog about using this photo for a painting:
The artist is Matt Holton of Holton Gallery. I gave him permission and today I received Flickr mail telling me that he had completed a study. Here is the study he completed:
You can check out Matt on Flickr as well.
That’s our new challenge over on Flickr….
Take a picture of something normal or everyday from a different angle, such that you’ll be able to make people guess what it is. You know how sometimes in magazines they have those pages where you have to guess what the picture is. I hope this is ok. If you have any questions please ask. Shoot away!
Our most recent challenge of at iSpy Weekly Challenge was to do a self portrait. This was hard for me because I hate getting my picture taken and I tend to be very self conscious. So, here is what I came up with:
These shots were taken for the most recent challenge over at iSpy
This is a picture that I took for the iSpy Weekly Challenge Flickr group. The challenge was silhouettes.
My dear friend Tabitha came up with a great idea for a Flickr group and I wanted to share it here. Feel free to stop over and join in the fun!
Challenge yourself to step outside of your creative box with a weekly challenge and flex your photography skills. Each week a new challenge will be issued by members based on a color, shape, subject, theme or whatever else we can dream up.
