Lilys Appointment

Well, we had another appointment with Lilys specialist yesterday. I was hoping for some real answers but as it turns out the doc thinks its a psychological problem. Lily is on an adult dose of stimulant laxative so it’s not a dosage problem. She just doesn’t want to go. We were given a couple of websites to check out. We were also told not to let her go more than 2-3 days without pooping. I had to give her an enema yesterday because it had been 4 days. The doc doesn’t want her rectum to get all stretched out from holding it again so that is why we will have to do the saline enemas every 2-3 days until she is going on her own again. It’s all so frustrating and I feel like I’m never going to get her potty trained. I hate seeing her so uncomfortable and I HATE giving her enemas. The crying and sad look on her face just makes me want to cry….which I have done the past couple of times. My poor little girl!
