Wake Up And Live

A day just like any other

Posted in Uncategorized by Sarah Skeen on June 1, 2007

It’s been a day just like any other so nothing to really report.

We got a hummingbird feeder a few days ago and have already seen a hummingbird. It’s pretty neat!

Seth and I downloaded the first season of an HBO show called Deadwood and have been watching an episode every night. It’s a really great show!

Lily had an appointment with her specialist yesterday. We found out that all of her tests came back normal except for that she has a very slight allergy to dairy. Normal is .3 and she is .6 so the dairy isn’t what is causing the problem. It may just be psychological except for that since she has been holding it in for so long her colon is now stretched out. We had to give her an enema last night and I couldn’t believe the amount of poop that came out of her! The doctor said to use salt water enemas from now on instead of the Fleet enemas because it’s easier on her. The doc said that we have a long way to go but it is slowly getting better.

Thats it for our day…..a day just like any other I guess…

Man, I am glad nothing is seriously wrong, but what a pain in the butt!!! Literally. Poor thing. That is so cool that you have seen a hummingbird. Nicky got a regular bird feeder as an award for his birdhouse, but I have to go buy one of those poles for the yard since we have no trees. 😦 By the way, you are so good about blogging. I am so lazy. LOL

Poor Lily :(. I feel so bad for her.

Yay about the humming bird! I almost got one but decided to go with the basic feeder for all the birds and squirles apparently lol).

That is the downside to her having these problems for so long. It will take time and I know she will overcome this. Just continue to be patient and keep working with her. Once potty training comes, continue to be patient and work with her as much as you can to help her understand not to hold it in. ((((HUGS))))
